Week 05 - 06

Material progress on the velvet maps seen in the master scene file.

Digi double photogrammetry clean-up progress. In the scan pipeline, to retain textures the model cannot be snapped to origin axis so I cannot utilize orthographic views or symmetry in ZBrush.

First pass at retexturing the scan data. Primary issue to resolve was the projected seam long the coronal plane of the figure.

On Feb 5th, Ben and I revisited Eastside to recapture the sidewalk, however this shoot day was too sunny so Ben had gone back the following day to reshoot solo.

On February 8th, we took a quick stop by the Savannah theater to capture reference photography. Here is a few examples of some of the reference I took including an image I used to create a roughness map.

Due to how noticeable it was in the main renders, with feedback I revised the booth geo by beveling the metal trim and re-UVed the booth exterior.

Texture iterations based on feedback from the team + testing in the master scene lighting.
